Sigmascape V4.0, known by players as O8, is the quaternary and final battle of the Raid Raid Omega: Sigmascape in Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood.

Story [ ]

Normal [ ]

The looming face of the Sigmascape, "Kefka" will be your final opponent in this test world. Analysis of his data reveals that, despite his comical appearance, this cackling jester once rose to godhood and bandage his entire planet into ruin. His is a ability not to be underestimated. Nero has too alerted you to the villain's propensity for trickery, and promised to watch for deadly feints through his enhanced monitor. You tin only hope that his warnings come in time...

Description

Savage [ ]

Once more than your finger moves as if of its own accord, and activates the 2d phase of the Savage Initiative. Description

Progression [ ]

Normal [ ]

Kefka's main gimmick in this fight is his trickery. Any of his magic attacks can be fakes; if an attack is a fake, Kefka will have question marks on the AoE indicators and the orbs floating around him.

  • Hyperdrive- Hard hitting magic tankbuster.
  • Blizzard Blitz- Large or small round AoE.
  • Fragrant Fire- Players will accept orange markers applied to them. Be certain to spread autonomously when the marker falls off.
  • Ultima Upsurge- Raid broad AoE assault.
  • Thrumming Thunder- Several line AoEs that bridge the arena.
  • Timely Teleport- Kefka volition teleport to the exterior of the arena. He will immediately cast an assault afterwards so be sure to stay backside him unless he begins casting Aero Assault.
  • Aero Attack- An ability that will knock players away. Stand in front of Kefka to avoid getting knocked off the field.

Halfway through the fight Kefka volition cast Graven Paradigm and a statue will form just exterior the loonshit, attacking players with different abilities.

  • Shockwave- The statue volition move his hand to 1 side of the arena and form an orb that volition knock players dorsum, this will too trick players depending if the orb moves to the other side of the arena or not.
  • Orb- A behemothic orb will appear on the left side or right side of the arena, get to the opposite side to avoid.
  • Ave Maria- A expect away or await at mechanic.

Vicious [ ]

Pre-Transformation [ ]

The Savage version is similar to the normal fight, Kefka volition yet flim-flam players depending on if the attacks accept question marks or not, simply players will need to remember them as he will cast them in-betwixt attacks.

  • Mana Charge- Copies the side by side ability he uses. Functionally [ctrl]+c
  • Mana Release- Discharges the ability copied by Mana Accuse. Functionally [ctrl]+v

Post-Transformation [ ]

Successfully reaching this phase will allow the raid to restart from this stage rather than repeating the prior phases.

Kefka will start the boxing off with Heartless Angel which will reduce the party's HP to ane; he will so begin casting Ultima, killing anyone not healed up properly. Once Ultima is bandage he will apply Hyperdrive on the main tank, too giving a Drain DoT. Side by side is Celestriad: there volition be a cross and outer circumvolve AoE. Have everyone stand outside in the pink circle until the inner circumvolve goes off. The DPS will then be marked with individual Fire 3's, so have them spread out, and the tanks and healers stack together to carve up the damage. After another Ultima have the tank pull the dominate to the center of the arena for the next mechanics. Forsaken, which causes high raid-wide damage, follows close behind.

Next up is Heartless Archangel, leaving everyone with 1 HP once more than, but this fourth dimension, if anyone isn't healed up to full they will be incurable for the upcoming mechanics. Following close behind Heartless Archangel are three meteor markers and Mad Skulls. To do this properly you need two people to soak the meteors, the healers stand up in the middle and the 4 DPS stand in the other two. In the meantime ,the skulls will be tethered to the DPS. They demand to stand in the AoE diagonal to their skull, then bait the skulls away from the heart and see their skull. Subsequently the skulls are taken intendance of, Wings of Destruction will brainstorm casting, targeting the closest and uttermost player. To deal with this, have the main tank stand up in the boss'south hitbox, the other players demand to be max melee range, and the off tank needs to run out to the edge of the arena. He volition then cast Light of Judgement, just similar the pre-transformation version this deals high raid damage.

The first of the second phase begins with a cast of Trine's small-scale version: triangles will brainstorm falling on the loonshit in unusual patterns. Explosions go off at each signal/angle on the triangles, while Kefka begins casting Wings of Destruction on one side, indicated by one glowing fly. For Trine run to the last set of landing triangles, and one time the first set go off run to the first fix to be rubber from the others. Another double Wings of Devastation, Ultima and a new mechanic: Futures Numbered or Pasts Forgotten. The power can yield either of the post-obit effects:

  • Futures Numbered- Kefka will bound and attack the party, and so quickly run behind him as he will cleave directly to the forepart. Stack near the boss to gear up for the carve.
  • Pasts Forgotten - Kefka will leap and attack the party, and so stand still equally he will cleave anything backside him. Stack location is somewhat irrelevant and so long as you don't current of air up behind Kefka before the cleave.

Next upwards is Ultimate Embrace. This can be shared by the tanks or Invulned, followed by a Hyperdrive. Later on another Ultima pull Kefka to the middle of the map for 2nd Forsaken. Adjacent up is Starstrafe, a series of mechanics anybody will have to do.

  • Melee DPS- Stand in Kefka'due south hitbox to avert getting Ranged DPS'southward effect, dodge AoE'south going clockwise or counter clockwise to avoid, then move North to soak the meteor.
  • Ranged DPS- Stand up on the edge of the arena one thespian directly E and some other W. The players will get an effect that causes them to drop puddles on the arena. After the effect occurs, move northwards slowly and so soak the N meteor with the melee DPS.
  • Heals and Tanks- Soak the meteors, i east and ane due west, then Kefka will cast Futures Numbered or Pasts Forgotten. Move to the southern part of the map, and drib the upcoming clones in unlike spots near the border of the map, depending on what was cast. Move backside Kefka or stay until the bandage of All Things Ending begins, and then soak meteors and stack almost the real Kefka.

Following a repeat of mechanics is Big Trine, take the boss on the eastward side but not directly eye to be safety for the post-obit patterns:

  • Version 1- The large Triangle in the centre volition have iii triangles exterior it, stand up expressionless center to avert
  • Version 2- The big triangle will have two triangles outside it, become to the side with no triangle and stack.

The post-obit mechanic is third Forsaken which is similar to the 3rd Graven prototype in the beginning part of this fight: the boss needs to exist dead center for this. Anyone with a tether will be knocked back, move north to exist knocked back into the meteors, the principal tank will get hitting with Ultimate Embrace after. Next is similar to 3rd Graven, if y'all're tethered to the left side of the statue go out, and if you're tethered to the correct stay inside to soak the meteors and the confused players. The next mechanics are like to the outset forsaken with the mad skulls, but afterwards information technology all the statue will be summoned and volition cleave half the arena, Kefka needs to be facing Eastward so a safe spot isn't ruined with his Wing of Devastation.

The following 4th Forsaken is identical to 3rd Forsaken.
